Chris’s story
His life has changed completely
Chris was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer, and his life has changed completely. Before his diagnosis, he was working full-time, supporting himself, and living a normal life for someone his age. Since becoming sick, he has had to step away from work to focus on treatment and getting through each day.
Cancer has taken an enormous physical, emotional, and financial toll. Between ongoing treatment, appointments, medications, everyday living expenses, and the many unexpected costs that come with a serious illness, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Without the ability to work, even basic expenses have become incredibly difficult to keep up with.
The goal of this fundraiser is to give Chris some breathing room while he continues fighting cancer. Donations will help with medical and medication expenses, transportation, housing and everyday bills, food, and other costs associated with being unable to work during treatment. Most importantly, it will allow him to focus his energy on his health instead of constantly worrying about how he is going to make ends meet.
Chris has always been someone who would do anything for the people he cares about. Asking for help does not come naturally to him, which is why we are asking on his behalf.
